From the specter of a wedding dress to the irreverence of a Prada shoe, what we choose to wear and how can be a conduit for obsession, remembrance, and provocation. In early 2025, I asked ten girlfriends to send me a piece of writing about an item in their closets that spoke to their inner lives. What I thought of as a curious Calle-ian exercise turned into Wearing It Out, a book of stories about getting dressed.

Featuring contributions from Ana Kinsella, Claire Marie Healy, Emily Wells, Laia García-Furtado, Marlowe Granados, Miriam Bale, Natalie Guevara, Sara Black McCulloch, Simran Hans, Tatum Dooley, and myself, along with a photography series from Jennifer Park, I produced two editions of 100, fabricated by Conveyor Studio in Clifton, New Jersey.

Distribution in the UK by Antenne Books
